Taxis in Heraklion town you will find at the port, at the airport and outside the major bus stations. You can also find taxis at specified "piazza" points inside the town (e.g. Liberty square - El Greco park)

Fares:

  • From the airport to our hotel, the fare is about 10 or 12 euros.

  • From the port to our hotel, the fare is about 5 or 7 euros

Tip:

  • Get an agreement on the fare before taking the cab and be aware if the driver extols the virtues of a particular place to stay he may be motivated by the prospect of a commission from the proprietors, rather than your best interests

  • Insist the driver to bring you here....
